Hailing from Alexandria VA, Mike Richards is an acoustic rock soloist and the front man of A Note Two Self, he released his first live self-titled, 5-track EP back in August of 2015. With a wide range of styling, Mike plays a large variety of covers and has original music compared to the likes of Ed Sheeran, Incubus, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Matchbox 20, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, and Third Eye Blind. He is currently preparing to tour a few festivals late March before a college tour on the West coast in promotion of his new record to be released in early March.

Based in Washington D.C., Mike has toured the country playing from coast to coast. Performing in rock bands and acoustically since the age of 14, his roots stem from a heavy influence of 90’s alternative rock and RnB, mixed with some acoustic rock. He began this project after the split of his former band “The Offset”, a Washington DC based rock group that opened for the likes of The Wailers and Frankie Munoz’s band “You Hang Up”.

Since starting A Note Two Self, Mike has been signed to a small label based in Phoenix Arizona and has been performing around the nation for local clubs and festivals such as the Atlantic City Beer Festival with names like the Dropkick Murphy’s and Streetlight Manifesto. He also performed in the 2017 Chicago IL and Columbia MD legs of Vans Warped Tour. His tour route for the remainder of 2018 will include various dates around Washington D.C., Southern Maryland, Northern Virginia, Austin Texas, and the Toyota Rock n’ Roll Marathon in Los Angeles, California and Savannah, Georgia.
